I have been working in the library with a process of looking, finding, looking again and re-ordering. My initial thoughts were to find those things that might go un-noticed and draw attention to them in the wake of the libraries renovation period.
From looking for remnants of objects and torn paper in bins, amongst dusty corners and under shelving units, things are given a new life by making them functional again. The library contains knowledge that is provisionally ordered and classified, waiting to be found again and processed in a new context. The same approach has been taken with these lost objects, they are found and re-ordered and intuitively grouped for display. There becomes scope for movement of the imagination between the triplets or groupings of objects and new knowledge can be found through personal interpretation of the conversations between these poetic scraps.
